With residents expressing interest and excitement about some national restaurant chains coming to Roseburg, News Radio 1240 KQEN has been reaching out to other often mentioned restaurants to see if their future plans might include the Umpqua Valley.
Site preparation is underway for In-N-Out Burger on Aviation Drive near Interstate 5. Company officials said it will likely be open late this summer. MOD Pizza recently announced they will move into a 2,500 square foot building on Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard by mid-August.
Chick-fil-A officials told KQEN “We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service. While we hope to serve the Roseburg community in the future, we do not currently have any locations to confirm”.
A communications staffer for Chipotle Mexican Grill said they do not have a planned location in Roseburg at this point.
An email to KQEN from Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc. was vague saying, “At the moment, I can’t say whether or not we’re currently considering this area”. A Popeye’s location is scheduled to open soon in Cottage Grove.
News Radio 1240 KQEN will continue checking with other restaurant chains to see if they are considering locating in Roseburg. If you have one that you’d like to know about, email us: kqen@bciradio.com.
