The Board of Directors of The FISH of Roseburg has named David Graham as its new Executive Director.

A release said the organization is the largest of Douglas County’s 15 food pantries and serves over 1,000 households each month.

The release said Graham’s decades of experience in the food service industry as well as business administration skills will help the Roseburg-based nonprofit that has provided emergency basic needs in the community since 1971.

Prior to joining the FISH Food Pantry, Graham owned 38 Central, a restaurant in Medford. Graham also worked as a consultant within the food industry with special emphasis on Child Nutrition programs and emergency feeding projects. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Graham worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and state agencies on feeding projects for those most at-risk in multiple states.

The pantry is open for food distribution Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Graham will manage the operations of the pantry and will also oversee the Roseburg Food Project. That program helps regularly supply the pantry via its every-other-month “Green Bag” neighborhood food collections.
