Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief on Wednesday.

An RPD report said shortly after 10:00 a.m. 44-year old Darren Smith allegedly threw a brick multiple times at a vehicle parked in the downtown parking structure. Smith was located in the 500 block of Southeast Rose Street and reportedly resisted arrest while officers attempted to take him into custody.

Smith was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest and for second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $58,750.
