Work is ramping up at the site of the future In-N-Out Burger on Northwest Aviation Drive, just east of Interstate 5.

Monday additional heavy equipment was working on the 2-acre property, with trucks from Knife River hauling dirt out of the area.

Documents provided from the City of Roseburg show that the project received site approval on September 29th. John Lazur from the Community Development Department told News Radio 1240 KQEN that building plans were reviewed by County planning officials after that.

In-N-Out’s Assistant Vice-President, Real Estate and Development, Mike Abbate said the company is excited to be in the initial stages of construction for the Roseburg location. He said once ground is broken on a new location, it usually takes 7 to 8 months to build a restaurant and get it opened up for business.

Abbate said, “Roseburg is a wonderful community and we look forward to opening a restaurant in the city in the not-too-distant future”.

The 3,885 square foot restaurant will have drive through service and outdoor patio seating. There will be 71 parking stalls and just over 26,000 square feet of landscape area.
