COVID-19 has claimed 24 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,124, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 5,179 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the case total to 638,823.
OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,113, which is 14 more than on Monday. There are 178 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Monday.
The new cases include:
*674 in Multnomah County
*544 in Marion County
*479 in Lane County
*467 in Washington County
