A Riddle man was jailed following an alleged Thursday incident.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said the victim reported she was in a domestic incident on Ruckles Drive in Myrtle Creek. The victim said that during the incident, the suspect had bear hugged her and squeezed her multiple times. That caused her to have a substantial amount of pain in her ribs.

The 27-year old suspect was contacted and taken into custody on Sunday. Charges included 4th degree felony assault, a felony count of strangulation and for harassment. The suspect was held on $102,500 bail.
