In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Umpqua Community College Art Gallery will feature the “Pursuing Echoes” series by artist Lindsey Dunnagan’s in an upcoming show inside the Whipple Fine Arts Building,

A UCC release said the fine art series is rooted in the artist’s experiences of the final decade of her Alzheimer-stricken grandmother’s life. Dunnagan’s art evokes dual imagery as she overlays drawings on paper that are altered by natural dyes and techniques she learned during her Peace Corps service in Morrocco.

The collection can be viewed for free from February 7th through March 10th. Gallery hours are weekdays except Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
