Roseburg Police cited a woman after she allegedly took another motorized shopping cart.

The RPD report said at about 9:40 p.m. officers investigating a pair of medical aid calls in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway discovered one of the people involved had left a nearby grocery store using the motorized cart to flee with her unpaid groceries.

The 39-year old transient was located nearby but the jail was unable to lodge her. She was cited for first-degree theft. The suspect was cited for a similar incident involving a motorized shopping cart at a business on West Harvard Avenue on Saturday.

She was released after being cited.
