Roseburg Police cited a woman for an alleged shoplifting incident on Sunday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 3:30 p.m. the 39-year old allegedly stole merchandise from a store in the 900 block of West Harvard. She also reportedly left riding the store’s motorized scooter, worth $1,800, and rode down Harvard. The store’s manager caught the suspect down the road and recovered the stolen items.

Officers contacted the woman further down the road and cited her for first-degree theft. She was released after the citation was issued.
