On Monday, the Oregon Health Authority reported 19,400 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19. This is for the 3-day period between Friday and Sunday.

Of that total:

*4,922 cases were from Friday

*10,862 cases were from Saturday

*3,616 cases were from Sunday.

17 deaths were also reported during that time, raising the state’s death toll to 5,953. The state case total is now at 590,270.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,045, which is 19 more than on Sunday. There are 161 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Sunday.

The new cases include:

*2,940 in Multnomah County

*2,722 in Washington County

*2,048 in Lane County

*1,532 in Clackamas County
