Oregon’s U.S. Senator Ron Wyden is holding a virtual town hall for residents of Douglas County on Friday.

The event, hosted by People’s Town Hall will begin at 3:00 p.m. A release said Wyden has held 970 in-person town halls statewide in fulfillment of his pledge to have at least one town hall each year in every one of Oregon’s 36 counties. Before this week, Wyden had held 21 virtual town halls for individual counties as well as 15 regional virtual town halls for multiple counties, since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020 required the events to go virtual.
