Two Roseburg men were cited following an injury traffic crash on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 5:45 p.m. the 26-year old was in a vehicle facing eastbound at the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Douglas Avenue. The man didn’t see a bicyclist who was going eastbound in the crosswalk. The motorist’s vehicle hit the 63-year old rider as he completed a left turn.

The report said a DMV check showed the driver was suspended at the felony level. The biker rider was allegedly visibly intoxicated. After an investigation, he was arrested for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. Citations for the motorist included driving while suspended-felony, driving uninsured and failure to obey a traffic control device.

Both men were cited and released on the scene.
