Roseburg Police cited a transient for littering near a waterway on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. an officer contacted the woman at her large encampment at the south side of Deer Creek Park on Southeast Pine Street. The 37-year old was surrounded by about two truckloads of items, a combination of trash and her possessions. She was found to have a warrant for her arrest during a records check.

The transient was cited and released on the warrant, as well as the littering charge.
