WASHINGTON MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED STOLEN VEHICLE INCIDENT

A Washington man was jailed for an alleged stolen vehicle incident on Monday.

An Oregon State Police report said at about 9:45 p.m. a vehicle was located with its hazard lights on, in the center gravel median on Interstate 5 south, about two miles north of the Canyon Creek Pass summit. A records check showed the vehicle was stolen out of Portland. The driver was found sleeping in the rear seat of the car.

25-year old Levi Otton of Longview, was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and for a felony warrant out of Washington County. He was initially detained on $100,000 bail, but was released on Tuesday morning.
