The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man following an alleged trespassing incident on Tuesday.

A DCSO report said at about 9:20 p.m. a deputy responded to the 400 block of Pickett Lane near Tiller Trail Highway in Tiller, for the report that a man was trespassing and at one point entering a house. The deputy didn’t initially find the suspect but believed he was nearby.

The man was found on adjacent property, asleep in a vehicle. The victim showed the deputy at least a dozen voice mails from the suspect and multiple text messages from over the past month, which were in violation of a restraining order.

The 32-year old suspect was detained and held for second-degree criminal trespass and for over 20 restraining order violations. Bail was set at $221,250.
