Roseburg Police cited a man following an alleged DUII crash early Sunday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 a.m. an officer observed a sedan heading northbound on Northeast Stephens, speeding with no lights on. The officer was trying to catch up with the vehicle when the suspect missed the curve next to a business in the 2100 block and entered a parking lot, shearing a power pole, a fire hydrant and a small flagpole before slamming into a recreational vehicle parked on the sales lot.

The 24-year old driver was cited driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangering and three counts of second-degree criminal mischief. He was released after the citation was issued.
