CITY OF WINSTON BUILDINGS CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19

January 18, 2022 11:30 a.m.

City of Winston buildings are closed to the public until Thursday January 21st, due to a staff member with a case of COVID-19.

Finance Clerk Cindy Sarti said to err on the side of safety, that will include city hall, and the police and public works departments.

Sarti said the planned council meeting will be moved to Monday January 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers. Teleconferencing for the meeting will still be available by calling 672-9421 and entering access code 300502.

Sarti said while buildings normally open to the public are closed, there will be no impact on emergency services.
