Thrive Umpqua is holding the Umpqua Valley Land Celebration on Monday.

The event will be held on MLK Day, at Eastwood Elementary School. The First Indigenous Nations Society and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians will offer a cultural demonstration, traditional music and land blessing, poetry and an interactive workshop for all ages. A “nearly traditional” lunch will be provided by UC-VEG.
