COVID-19 has claimed 31 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,845, as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 8,760 new confirmed and presumptive cases, of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 494,945.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 756, which is 29 more than on Tuesday. There are 146 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 8 more than on Tuesday.
The new cases include:
*1,454 in Multnomah County
*1,158 in Washington County
*820 in Clackamas County
*801 in Marion County
