A transient was cited for offensive littering, by Roseburg Police on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. an officer responded to Fir Grove Park in the 1300 block of West Harvard. The 42-year old has had his small travel trailer and pickup in the parking lot for some time, accumulating a large amount of things around it. The suspect was also previously warned about his vehicle leaking a large amount of oil from the engine. The report said the transient had made no effort to set something under the pickup to catch the oil, or to clean up the oil discarded.

The suspect was ordered to clean up his mess, including the oil. He was released after the citation was issued.
