Thursday’s report on COVID-19 cases in Oregon shows that the state broke the highest daily case total for a 4th report in a row.
COVID-19 has claimed 9 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,728, as of Thursday. An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 7,615 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 449,267.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 588, which is 65 more than on Wednesday. There are 110 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Wednesday.
The new cases include:
*1,598 in Multnomah County
*1,333 in Washington County
*756 in Clackamas County
*623 in Lane County
