The Art Gallery at Umpqua Community College is open again after an 18-month hiatus.
On display is a show from Los Angeles-based photographer Richard Greene which creates temporary optical illusions using exteriors and colors of grouped buildings. The showing is one of the several that were postponed when the gallery closed for the pandemic, and for seismic retrofitting following the winter 2020 term.
Hours for students and the public are weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A number of other artists are scheduled to have their works shown in the gallery throughout the rest of the year.
