A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning for the south central and southern Oregon Cascades including Crater Lake and Diamond Lake.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said wet snow, with accumulations of 5 to 10 inches are expected, along with winds gusting as high as 40 miles per hour over open areas.

This includes portions of Highways 138, 230, and other high elevation roads in the region.

Forecasters said drivers should plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
