The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Monday.

A DCSO report said just after 5:00 p.m. the 32-year old suspect was called in for acting erratic and refusing to leave a business in the 100 block of Chief MiWaleta Lane, in Canyonville. Deputies contacted the man on the north end of the parking lot. The suspect had been trespassed from the business previously and was cited and released for trespassing again.

Units left the area but within the hour, the man was called in again and accused of attempting to break vehicle windows on the property. He was taken into custody.

Joseph Alcaraz was charged with 2 counts of second-degree criminal trespass, for second-degree disorderly conduct and for attempted unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. Alcaraz was detained on $13,750 bail.
