A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged assault incident on Friday night.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 11:40 p.m. the 35-year old allegedly assaulted the victim in the 3,000 block of Roberts Mountain Road. The victim was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center to have his injuries checked out.

The suspect was charged with fourth-degree assault and for interfering with making a report. Bail was set at $12,500.
