The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man following an alleged trespass incident on Sunday night.

A DCSO report said at about 11:45 p.m. the 42-year old was said to be trespassing in the 100 block of Chief Miwaleta Lane in Canyonville. The suspect left the area before a deputy could arrive. The man was found hiding in the bushes behind a nearby business. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for warrants.

Bail was set at $15,000.
