Roseburg Police jailed a man and charged him with improper use of 911 on Wednesday.

An RPD report said the 39-year old was intoxicated and called the Emergency Communications System 6 times in an hour, yelling and being belligerent towards dispatch. The suspect was detained at 8:00 p.m. in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. Bail was set at $6,250.
