MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED RECKLESS DRIVING INCIDENT

A Glendale man was jailed for an alleged reckless driving incident on Thursday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said a victim reported having witnessed a possible unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle situation. The caller said the suspect then followed her and another person, tailgating them around town. The suspect reportedly turned his lights off while driving and accelerated at the victim’s vehicle several times.

A deputy stopped the suspect on Glendale Valley Road at about 12:30 a.m. The 21-year old was charged with reckless driving and two counts of reckless endangering. He was released later in the morning.
