COVID-19 CLAIMS 15 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,655, AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 15 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,655, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 2,948 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 421,263.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 440, which is 21 more than on Wednesday. There are 93 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Wednesday.

The new cases include:

*641 in Multnomah County

*418 in Washington County

*286 in Deschutes County

*269 in Clackamas County
