A woman was hospitalized after a wreck on Sunday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 10:30 a.m. a 69-year old woman was traveling in the 700 block of Eagle Valley Road in the Yoncalla area, with a passenger. The driver slid off the road, hitting some fencing along the side of the road.

The report said the passenger, a 30-year old, was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center after complaining of neck pain and of feeling nauseous.

The passenger was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson. The vehicle was removed from a ditch.
