A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Monday for much of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches is expected in most of Douglas County, along with Josephine and Jackson counties, and eastern Curry County.

For the south central and southern Oregon Cascades including Crater Lake, Diamond Lake and the Siskiyou summit, 2 to 5 inches is forecast. Winter impacts are expected for all roads and highways.

Forecasters said travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility in some areas.

A second Winter Weather Advisory for central Douglas County will go from 10:00 p.m. Monday through 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. 1 to 3 additional inches of snow is forecast.
