The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has been notified by Zipley Fiber of a telephone service disruption, which is affecting the ability of some south county residents to dial 911 from their landline telephones. The outage began roughly around 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Residents in the communities of Days Creek, Milo and Tiller are impacted by this disruption. Residents who have cellular phone service may be able to dial 911 from their cellular phone to summon emergency services.
At this time, there is no estimated time of service restoration.
