Angi Bailey was recently elected to serve a two-year term as Oregon Farm Bureau President.

Bailey was chosen by the OFP House of Delegates, described as a grassroots group of family farmers and ranchers representing County Farm Bureaus from across the state. The election took place on December 9th, during the 89th OFB Convention at Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond.

Bailey said, “It’s an honor to be elected, by individuals for whom I have a great deal of respect, as president of a remarkable organization like Oregon Farm Bureau”. Bailey said OFB is doing vital work for its members and “…I feel grateful and blessed to be a part of that work”.

An OFB release said Bailey initially stepped into the role of OFB president in April after having served as first vice president. She took over the position from former OFB President Barb Iverson, who had to step aside because of serious medical issues”.

Bailey has served in a number of other roles in the organization in past years, including on the national level. She is a fourth-generation farmer who operates a nursery in Gresham, along with her family.
