Roseburg Police cited a man after a collision with a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office vehicle on Monday.

An RPD report said at 5:00 p.m. the 59-year old allegedly emerged from Northeast O’Dell Street, and crossed Northeast Winchester Street, failing to obey a stop sign. The report said the driver pulled in front of a DCSO SUV, which was headed south on Winchester, causing the collision in front of the News Review/Brooke Communications building.

The driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
