Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged reckless burning incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said just after 10:00 p.m. officers responded to reports of the 26-year old lighting a trash can on fire in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson downtown. When officers arrived, they observed a city trash can completely engulfed in flames. Officers located the suspect behind a nearby business, allegedly attempting to light a second, larger dumpster on fire.
