COVID-19 CLAIMS 3 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,534, AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,534, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,941 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 407,153. The new deaths and cases cover data recorded by counties for the 3-day period between Friday and Sunday.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 352, which is 11 fewer than on Sunday. There are 101 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Sunday.

The new cases include:

*390 in Multnomah County

*266 in Washington County

*212 in Clackamas County

*140 in Lane County
