Winston Police jailed a man after an incident on Tuesday.
A WPD report said just after 10:00 a.m. officers received a report that a man was jumping in front of vehicles in the 100 block of South Darrell. The suspect was also allegedly hitting cars as they passed by.
The 32-year old was located on Speedway Road in Roseburg. Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Winston officers attempted to contact him. The suspect allegedly resisted officers as they tried to take him into custody. The man was eventually detained.
The suspect was charged with resisting arrest and for second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $5,000. Neither the suspect nor the officers sustained any injuries in the incident.
