OCF DEPLOYS $1 MILLION TO SUPPORT ARTS IN OREGON

In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Oregon Community Foundation has announced around $1 million in Oregon Arts and Culture Recovery Fund grants to support historically under-funded arts and communities throughout Oregon.

76 nonprofit arts organizations will share in over $577,000. All 36 county cultural organizations are receiving $5,000 out of a $180,000 grant. That includes the Douglas County Cultural Coalition.  All 9 federally recognized tribes are getting $25,000 out of a $225,000 dispersal.

An OCF release said in addition, the organization has awarded $1 million in funding to the Oregon Arts Commission to support individual artists across the state through the Artists Resilience Program.
