Two people were jailed in an alleged mail theft incident early Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 12:00 a.m. a 38-year old woman and a 29-year old man, both from Reedsport, were contacted in the 1100 block of Northeast Lincoln. They had been reported as suspicious subjects.

Both were charged with possession of burglary tools. The woman was also held for conspiracy to commit a Class C felony and for a parole violation warrant. The man was also charged with three counts of mail theft. The suspects were released early Wednesday.
