COVID-19 has claimed 49 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,469, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 883 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 402,436.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 382, which is 26 fewer than on Monday. There are 97 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Monday.
The new cases include:
*102 in Marion County
*85 in Multnomah County
*83 in Washington County
*64 in Clackamas County
Locally OHA said there were 39 new cases in Douglas County.
