COVID-19 CLAIMS 19 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,318, AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 19 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,318, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 861 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 398,262.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 397, which is 8 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 100 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 10 fewer than on Tuesday.

The new cases include:

*114 in Multnomah County

*84 in Washington County

*76 in Marion County

*75 in Deschutes County
