COVID-19 CLAIMS 31 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,299, AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 31 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,299, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 945 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 397,421.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 405, which is 13 fewer than on Monday. There are 110 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 fewer than on Monday.

The new cases include:

*107 in Washington County

*103 in Marion County

*98 in Multnomah County

*67 in Clackamas County
