A Glendale woman was jailed following an alleged DUII/reckless driving incident on Wednesday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at about 5:20 p.m. a deputy came upon a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Glendale Valley Road and Azalea Glen Road in Glendale. A 57-year old woman had reportedly driven through the intersection without stopping, and t-boned another occupied vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured. The first driver received a superficial laceration on the head.
The report said the woman who caused the wreck showed signs of impairment. A search warrant was written and five hours after the crash, the driver had a blood alcohol level of .05 percent. Charges included a felony count of DUII and for reckless driving. Bail was set at $56,250.
Her vehicle was towed from the accident scene.
