A Myrtle Creek woman is still missing and authorities are continuing their efforts to locate her.

Detective Kevin Taggart of the Myrtle Creek Police said 77-year old Bonnie Jo Short left her home Saturday morning at about 1:30 a.m. and hasn’t been heard from since. Short was driving a silver 2015 Ford Escape with Oregon license plate 900MLJ.

Taggart said Short’s vehicle was last known to be eastbound on Riverside Drive heading towards South Myrtle Road. MCPD, along with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Search and Rescue have been focusing the search out South Myrtle Road.

Short is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 110 pounds. She has grey hair and brown eyes. Short was last seen wearing blue slacks, a grey and black striped sweatshirt, black boots and a grey robe.

Taggart said anyone with information regarding Short’s whereabouts or has seen her vehicle, is asked to contact MCPD immediately at 440-4471. Her picture and a photo of the type and color of the vehicle she was driving is posted with this story at www.541radio.com.
