6 more people have died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 143 more people have received new positive test results, and 25 more are presumptive, as of Wednesday.
The Douglas County COVID-19 Weekly Update covered data reported from November 25th through December 1st.
The new deaths include:
*An 83-year old woman
*A 69-year old man
*A 41-year old man
*A 46-year old man
*An 89-year old woman
*A 93-year old man
5 were not vaccinated and 1 was fully vaccinated.
The total number of cases is now at 13,443. Of those, 12,988 are people that have received positive test results and 455 are presumptive. 34 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 27 locally and 7 outside the area. 4 COVID-19 positive patients are in the Intensive Care Unit and 3 are in the Progressive Care Unit. 28 of the 34 hospitalized patients are not fully vaccinated.
