COVID-19 CLAIMS 27 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,142, AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 27 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,142, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 2,598 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 390,066.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 396, which is 21 more than on Sunday. There are 91 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Sunday.

The new cases include:

*417 in Multnomah County

*340 in Washington County

*300 in Clackamas County

*282 in Deschutes County

Locally OHA said there were 87 new cases in Douglas County
