MAN CITED FOR LITTERING THURSDAY

A Roseburg man was cited for littering near a waterway, by Roseburg Police on Thursday.

An RPD report said at about 9:15 a.m. the 58-year old was contacted where he was camped under the old train trestle bridge, near the corner of Northeast Stephens and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. He was cited as he allegedly had a trash pile only 20 feet from the edge of the water. The suspect also had a failure to appear warrant for a previous littering charge.

The suspect was released after being cited on both charges.
