Roseburg Public Library will have a Facebook Live streaming event with Oregon author Eileen Garvin on Thursday night.

Garvin will focus the discussion on her debut novel, “The Music of Bees”, which follows three grieving strangers brought together at a honeybee farm in rural Oregon. Garvin lives in Hood River. In recent years, Garvin entered the world of beekeeping and is now enrolled in the Master Beekeeper Program with the Oregon State University Extension Service. The newfound hobby is what brought her to write, “The Music of Bees”.
