The deadline is approaching for Small Business Administration disaster loans for property damage due to the Bootleg Fire in Klamath County.
That fire began on July 6th of this year.
An SBA release said businesses of all sizes, most private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters may apply for federal disaster loans to repair or replace disaster damaged property. The loans are available in Klamath, Douglas, Deschutes, Jackson, Lane and Lake counties in Oregon and in Modoc and Siskiyou counties in California.
The funds can also help with the cost of improvements to protect, prevent, or minimize the same type of disaster damage from occurring in the future.
