This is Thanksgiving Day and there are many closures.

Federal, state, county and city offices are closed. No regular mail will be delivered. Schools are not in session. Banks and credit unions are closed. Many retail locations will be closed though some will be open for part of the day.

The community of Plymouth, Massachusetts says its is celebrating the 400th anniversary of the “first” Thanksgiving, but other states claim they were first.
